This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.
If you’re like me you probably saw the word in the title and tried to pronounce it. NMEDA actually stands for National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association. And again if you’re like me you probably have never heard of them before now. They are a non-profit trade association: they assist consumers and help educate them on buying products from a NMEDA qualified dealer.
NMEDA does not sell anything. They do however help to promote safe driving and equipment for disabled people. And they are the only association that does this. They are the ones that help disabled people by helping them find handicap vans and vehicle modifications by going through NMEDA dealers.
NMEDA has two types of dealers: Regular dealers AND Quality Assurance Program (QAP) Dealers. The second type of dealer is the only one recognized nationally which is an accredited program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. Which basically means in order to satisfy customers companies must have a systematic approach to quality.
I did go on their website and type in my zip code just to see out of curiosity how close a dealer is to me and there’s one in Ft. Meyers which is about 3 1/2-4 hours from me. Not too bad I guess. Why don’t you go on their website and have a look see as to how far one is from you?

If so I have just the place for you to go to buy your scrubs! It’s a website called Blue Sky Scrubs and they have some really great looking ones! They sell plain one colored ones and they sell ones with prints on them (I particularly like the ones with the prints – not so boring).
A good soccer friend of mine just got her nursing degree and is in the process right now of applying for jobs. But she’s also looking for some scrubs while she’s applying to places so I told her about this website. What she really likes about the website are some of the great looking nursing scrubs on sale there. That will really help her out since she hasn’t landed a job just yet.
I have another friend who has been a nurse for years now so I led her also to this website figuring it might help her out too. She likes the hospital scrubs for sale since she works as a nurse in a local hospital. Both ladies were very happy and grateful I showed them this website.
What I think are cute (and my daughter could quite possibly be wearing them someday in the future) are vet scrubs. I can just see my daughter wearing them one day. Her and her best friend from soccer keep saying they’re going to go to a vet college together and then open up their own practice once they get out. I can definitely see my daughter doing that too because she’s so motivated and competitive and knows just what she wants and goes for it!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boost Mobile. All opinions are 100% mine.
Our contract is up the end of this month and my cell phone is looking pretty shabby! I’ve had it now for over 2 years so I am in need of a new one. I started looking online and came upon a website for Boost Mobile – a company I had never heard of before but am glad I came across. You can sign up for monthly plans or pay as you go. The latter is something I’ve been seriously considering lately – so tired of our HUGE monthly cell phone bill!
They have this cool thing called Re-Boost which is where you can sign up to set up worry-free automatic payments, make a one time payment or sign up your card for future payments. Also, friends and family members can add money to your account if the want to as well – or vice versa. You have the option of paying online, paying in person or paying with your phone.
The variety of phones they have is awesome! I was looking at the Blackberry for myself while Sean just needs something simple!
It has all the features I need and want – digital camera, full Qwerty keypad (LOVE the keypad!), email access, enhanced web browser plus an enhanced MP3 music player! And for $60 a month you get unlimited nationwide talk, text and web! They also have an iDEN series by Motorola which I guess is like an iPhone. I was looking at that one too! That one has email access, is Wi-Fi capable, is powered by Android, messaging and nationwide boost walkie-talkie. And that one is only $50 a month which includes unlimited nationwide talk, text and web!
I have to show this to Sean! I’m thinking we need to switch to this once our contract is up!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.
just like they were yesterday! I remember cleaning and sanitizing the bottles and I remember mixing the formula for each and every kid. I remember doing it sometimes at 3am (on the nights we had forgotten to do it before we went to bed) – those nights happened more-so with our 1st child then with the other two (I think we got smarter with each kid
).
A good friend of mine has a 6 month old and I was watching her a few weeks ago mixing the formula. It brought back so many memories. I don’t know if I could do it all over again at this age though (my friend is the same age I am). I’m very content that my kids are now very self sufficient!
Anyway, my friend and I were talking about all of the different formulas out there now and she was telling me all about Bright Beginnings available at diapers.com.

I’d never heard of it before so I looked it up. It seems you can buy the new Bright Beginnings Formula directly from diapers.com. That makes it easy enough right? And from what I’ve read about it they now have a new can design from Parent’s Choice. It contains no pesticides, no antibiotics and no added growth hormones so it’s healthy and nutritional!!! (Good to know also right?)

At least I am – Sean has his – which I do get to use (alot) but I still want my own. Mine died on my last summer this time and I don’t think I’ve ever recovered. LOL Seriously! I still have it too sitting on the floor by my bed. #1 I don’t know how to get rid of it and #2 I never got all my info off of it before it died so I’m worried about that. Thinking if I take it apart and smash the important things that might work!? Anyone know? Wishing back then I had bought laptop insurance on it.
That was a good, expensive laptop! It was HP and cost about $1300 and only lasted 2 years. Been looking at eventually buying another but not sure which one to buy. Had a Dell desktop and hated it – and had an HP laptop and even though I loved it – it died.
Would LOVE a MAC – but can’t afford it.
Oh well….for now I’m stuck with hubby’s Toshiba (which has been great by the way!).

but I guess I wouldn’t have to worry about my daughter and zits until she got older. She started with these horrors at the age of 9. And recently it’s just been getting worse. THEN I noticed my youngest (my 8 year old) with a zit on his chin! He JUST turned 8 this past February. Wondering if I need to start looking into the best acne treatment that is out there. I’m hoping I don’t have to worry too much for them since I never had acne – a few zits here and there but nothing really bad. I just can’t believe we’re dealing with this with our 8 and 9 year olds. Granted she’ll be 10 in a month but STILL! Wish I could slow down time!

Back in the day…..when I worked as Front Desk Manager at a hotel I was also in charge of buying supplies for the front desk area. That meant paper, pens, pencils, ink cartridges such as the 108R00725 for the copier, ink cartridges for the computer printers……you know….your basic office supplies. And I was efficient (or at least told I was) because we always had stuff stocked so it was there when we needed it AND I kept it all under budget! A HUGE plus! Nowadays, I’m lucky if I can keep ketchup stocked in this house. LOL Seriously! Some things we have tons of (like things the kids don’t like to eat) while others – as soon as I but it it’s gone!

I bought a domain a while back but haven’t done anything with it yet. Only because I can’t figure out the software. LOL Crazy, I know. I also though haven’t given myself the time to try and figure it out. Just been crazy busy. I’m hoping towards the end of summer to have it somewhat figured out so I can get the site up and running. It’s going to be an online store. I’ve thought of doing it on Etsy and the likes so I might start it out there. But first I need to actually buy all of the wholesale supplies that I’ll need to make the products with. Most of them will be made once they are ordered, but some won’t be. I’m excited about this new endeavor. Just hesitant to get started because I have no idea what I’m doing!

You can now lie back and think of England without those annoying headphones on your ears! Yup, it’s true! You know how if you want to listen to music you have to wear headphones and then when you lie on the one side it hurts that ear because of the headphone? Or you can’t even lie on your side because the headphones are too big? Don’t need to worry about that anymore! There’s a new Sound Asleep Pillow which has built in speakers so you can now listen to the England match (if for some reason you can’t watch it on TV today) and have fun with your spouse or significant other
(if you know what I mean), or just lie down and relax and not have to fiddle with headphones!
I need to get me one of these! I’d love to be able to fall asleep to my meditation music, but it’s on my iPod and I have to use headphones. And I hate it! Anytime I want to roll on my side, it cuts into my ears and I get all annoyed and take them off. Then I can’t get to sleep. (I know that’s not the only reason I can’t sleep but you get the idea!)
Check out the video below!!!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Freschetta. All opinions are 100% mine.
Pizza (well, actually melted cheese in general) and beer are my favorite kinds of foods! I don’t think there’s a day that goes by that I don’t think about eating melted cheese. Some days I seriously crave it. And the beer just makes the pizza (or melted cheese) taste that much better.
Recently, at a friends house, I tried a new kind of pizza: Freschetta FlatBread and it was delicioso!I have some brands that are my faves but can now add this brand to my list. If you haven’t tried it yet you really need to (especially if you’re a pizza lover in general).
Having a pizza place deliver always costs this house a fortune. There’s 5 of us, all with different wants for toppings so it adds up. But we’ve found recently that frozen pizzas are just as good…… if not better and don’t cost us an arm and leg. And right now if you go to the Freschetta website, you can get a coupon for $1 off! I’ve already got mine for my next grocery shopping trip.
I had tried the Roasted Garlic pizza at my friends house, but want to try their other flavors too. Bet the 5-Cheese would be a huge hit in this house (I’m not the only melted cheese lover).
Which one would you like to try first?
