that we had our A/C off. But it felt heavenly! It’s been slowly getting hotter with each day and after last night (and everyone complaining how hot they were) I reluctantly turned the A/C back on this morning. I’m hoping it’s not for long though. I loved having the windows open and the crisp air coming in. Problem is, since we live in a ranch style house and not a 2 story, I don’t like leaving windows open during the night. Just last night a neighbor/friend of mine told me how a car down our street was stolen, a house broken into and another work truck broken into as well all within the past 3 weeks. So no – windows are not left open when no one is home or at night time.

I love days when the windows are open too. I do leave them open on cool nights on the main floor, but it does creep me out.
