I started it back up today – a soccer friend of mine came over as soon as the kids got on the bus and we started our month long “adventure” (horror show) of doing Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred DVD! And I’m not as sore as I thought I’d be. I’m waiting for tonight though when the soreness really starts! Or even tomorrow morning when she comes back for day 2 and we both can’t move. LOL
We were talking about all the different things we’ve bought in the past to help us lose weight and all the different diets and weight loss DVD’s we’ve done before and never followed through with. She’s even gone so far as buying a dip machine. (Her hubby wanted strong, muscular arms.)
Thinking we can stick through wit this one since it’s only 20 minutes a day!
I didn’t even notice until this morning but we’re starting the beginning of the month which is nice! No having to keep track on a piece of paper – just follow the calendar for the month of November. Jillian recommends doing this everyday – so we’re going to try 5 days a week since weekends are nuts for both of us. Having a workout partner is great because it keeps you motivated and on those days you just don’t feel like doing it, you’ve got your partner to say “Come on fatty – let’s go!!!!” I did forget to weigh myself this morning – need to remember to do that tomorrow morning. I could probably stand to lose about 10 pounds – I need to firm up more then lose weight though. Hoping this DVD does the trick (as long as I keep doing it).
