Working out habit!

I think it’s official – I have become addicted to working out! I go a day without working out and I hate it. I think the whole key to keeping up with this (for me) is having 2 other workout partners! It helps SO much to be working out with someone else. We’ve been switching back and forth from doing Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred (on Mon., Wed. and Fri.) to doing the C25K program up at the fields on Tues. and Thurs. nights (and I’ll sometimes do it on a weekend before one of the kids games – depending on if there’s time). I’ve even added the Yourself Fitness Playstation workout on Tues. and Thurs. mornings and sometimes on weekends (if our weekends aren’t TOO crazy – like our past 2 weekends have been).

But I’m loving it and I’m noticing a difference in not only how I look, but also my endurance when it comes to each workout and just how I feel in general. I can go longer and not have it hurt so much – which means soon I’ll be able to move up to the next level on all 3 workouts. I’ve never gotten to the next level on any workouts! I don’t even think I’ve ever stuck to a workout regimen this long! (It’s going on 3 weeks now). I’ve lost 3 pounds too! It’s nice to be working out with others so that you can talk and not have to just think about the working out (and hurting) part. It helps to keep your mind off that part of it! Plus, it’s so much fun! We laugh and giggle or vent and get some anger out. I’m loving it!
