The day after the green beer…

Last night was an absolute blast and Sean was so surprised. He has no idea all of these friends of ours were going to be there. (Ahem….pat on back….I pull off yet another surprise party for him.) :-) The only thing he wasn’t happy about was the fact we were in an Irish Pub but they did not have Irish music…..the guy sang Pink Floyd (which of course I was happy about) and everything else BUT Irish music. Needless to say Sean let the guy know he wasn’t happy…..time…..and time……and time…..and time again until the guy wanted Sean out.

The walk home was quite eventful with Sean falling into a 5 foot ditch (and wrecking the pants he had on while getting soaked) and me apparently “face planting” and falling on the flat concrete surface where I must have landed on my right elbow as it’s all scraped up and my arm HURTS!

Another fun night out with friends gets added to the books!

Sean with some of the ladies that were there that night.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!!

Finally….St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Saturday and we have big plans for tonight. (Well, Sean doesn’t know so shhhhh.) Sean thinks that my brother and Syndi and maybe 2 other couples are going to Mulligan’s Irish Pub tonight. And that is exactly what we are doing. What he doesn’t know is about 25 other people are coming as well as a surprise for his birthday! The best part is the kids are staying at my brothers because he lives right in the same subdivision as this place and we’re going to walk there – no one has to drive! Cannot wait! Have needed a night out like this with friends for a while!

Now check out this picture below. The one picture of the 4 kids (my 3 on the right plus a friends on the left) and then the more recent ones of each of my kids taken this past week with the same exact hats we made back then. The 1st one was taken March 2003. Time goes by way too fast!

Stay thirsty my friends!!!!

This is what our cooler looked like every night our friends were here. Last night we called “Thirsty Thursday”! (We usually had either another littler cooler filled as well or some in the fridge waiting – we were prepared!)

“Coronita’s”…

may be be small and cute….but if you drink enough of them they pack quite a “punch”.

I was just thinking of us hanging out with some of the parents from Tristan’s team Saturday night. After we went out to dinner, two of the guys went out to get beer so we could hang around by the pool. They came back and one of the guys had bought “Coronita’s” by accident. (They are the really little Corona glass bottles.) They’re cute but I was a bit hungover yesterday morning.
