The kids and I got home yesterday around 1 or so. Last night we had two different things we could have gone to but I was beat from the drive and just from the past week of always being on the go. So we stayed at home and just hung out.
Today though is a different story. We’re going to get some things done around the house in the morning (since we haven’t had any weekends in the past 3 months to do this) and then this afternoon we’re heading out to Clearwater to watch my friends kids in a soccer tournament. We’re going to bring subs and as soon as the game is over head on over to my fave beach, eat the subs there for dinner and watch the sun set.
I’m not sure what we’re doing tomorrow for Easter. We were invited to hang with our soccer buds but not sure that’s going to happen. Plus, the fact Sean bought a leg of lamb yesterday so I’m guessing we’re staying home. Which I have no problem with since the next two weekends we’ll be away in the Outer Banks on our 2nd spring break!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!
Seems we’ve completely forgotten about dying Easter eggs this year. Ooops! We’ve just been so busy this spring break that we really haven’t had the time. Luckily the kids have forgotten too so that makes it easier.
is where we went today with Nana and Pop and had a blast. It’s not as big as the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa – but the kids have alot of fun just the same. We were there for about 4 hours I’d say. Got home around 4 and then went out to dinner to O’Charley’s.
The kids had the Easter bunny come early from Nana today. They did their Easter basket hunt in the morning and then their egg hunt this afternoon in between the zoo and dinner. Time to have more candy in the house!!!!
