was alot of fun. It didn’t seem like we had alot of trick or treaters in our neighborhood this year. Sean stayed home since he wasn’t feeling well and he said we got about 10 groups of T or T’ers all night. And while we were walking around, I’d have to say maybe every 3rd or 4th house had their front porch light on saying they were giving out candy. Normally our neighborhood is packed! The subdivision not far from us always drops their kids off at the front of ours and lets them walk around. This year there was next to no one. Not sure if it was because Halloween fell on a Saturday so alot of families were at parties, or if it was the heat (it was 90 degrees out), or because there were games on (football and the World Series – GO YANKEES!!!) or if maybe the Swine Flu scared everyone away. It just seems every year, the amount of trick or treaters and the amount of people giving out candy is slowly dwindling down
We had fun nonetheless. We met up with friends of ours down the street (Caelie is friends and soccer teammates with their daughter) and then our next door neighbor and his son joined up with us about halfway through. I even dressed up as well – as a soccer referee – figure I’m a ref everyday anyway right?
Kieran was Bumble Bee, Caelie was a Ninja and Tristan was Frankenstein.
