In an hour or so the kids, my mom and I are heading off to Orlando to go and visit my long time friend Kristin and her girls who are visiting Mickey Mouse from New Jersey. I am SO excited and cannot wait to see them. Kristin and I have literally known each other since she was born (which was 3 months after me) and have been best friends ever since. She is Tristan’s Godmother as well. The one thing I am extremely sad about is her youngest, Andrea, doesn’t know who we are. We still lived in New Jersey when her oldest, Giana, was born so she knows us all very well. But Andrea is only two and doesn’t know us. I’ve only met her twice and very briefly at that so I can’t wait to meet her and see how she is at two years old. We plan on hanging out at her hotel (All Star Sports Resort) and eating lunch there and letting the kids swim in one of the many pools. I can’t wait to get out there.
After that we’re off to my brothers for the night for some fun. I have a Wii Tournament scheduled, got Martini mixtures yesterday and it’s just going to be a night of FUN!
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Years Eve!
This morning has been crazy – I’ve lived on the phone. First talking to my friend Kristin about our plans to meet them at their hotel in Disney tomorrow sometime. Then on the phone with our airlines trying to find out what kind of ID I’m going to need for Caelie – I was told her birth cert. and a photo ID which of course, since she’s only 8 she doesn’t have. So I was then on the phone trying to find out where I can get a photo ID for her and I found it. So now we’re off to my brothers so I can drop the boys off there and then Caelie and I make our way to DMV to get her photo ID. I’m just hoping it’s not crazy packed there (the reason I’m dropping the boys off at my brothers).
Then tonight it’s decision time for Sean and I. We’ve been invited to do 4 different things tomorrow night for New Years Eve:stay out in Orlando and go to Epcot with Kristin and family; go to a good soccer friends house for an all night party (with the whole family); Sean and I go with my brother and Syndi and their friends to some pub called Four Green Fields somewhere in Tampa or Ybor (while my parents watch the kids for us); or stay at home with my parents and possibly Charlie and Syndi (and perform our own Burning Bowl Ceremony).
