1. Dog – I have one dog named Knoxie who is a crazy Labradoodle. Growing up I was always allergic to dogs so we never got one until I grew out of it at the age of about 12. Our first family dog was Sasha (a mix). Then when I moved out I bought a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and named her Nike. When they passed away my parents then bought a Cocker Spaniel named Freckles.

2. Danette – Don’t know anyone with this name.

3. Downs Gang – Used to be a blog but is no more.

4. Dairy – My middle child is lactose intolerant so we have to be careful with dairy products with her. We have to watch what she eats or she gets very bloated and gassy (watch out when that happens!).

5. Dance – wish my youngest would take up dance – seems to be the only kid with any rhythm but he refuses to.

6. Daddy – Love my father with all my heart. Look up to him immensely!

7. Disney World – Have only been there I think twice since we moved to Tampa. Love it there though!

8. Derriere – This word makes me giggle.

9. Division – I was never very good at math and Long Division was the worst.

10. Ditzy – how I feel alot of the time!

11. DVD – We just watched Where the Wild Things Are not too long ago and I cried like a baby at the end (so did my oldest).

12. Dough – I love making fresh bread.

13. Dimples – My youngest has them and every time he smiles, it makes me smile!

Thirteen TV shows I have set up to DVR on a weekly basis.

Ever since starting my new job I’ve been missing alot of my TV shows. Thankfully we got Verizon FIOS and have a DVR so I can set it up so that any new episodes of the shows I love get DVR’d automatically. The problem arises when two shows are on at the same time – mostly that only happens on Thursdays thankfully! Then I have to choose which one I’ll miss.

So here are 13 shows I have set up to record on my DVR on a weekly basis. (and in no particular order either)

13 Random thoughts…

1. We have a crazy weekend in store! Both Tristan and Caelie have their end of season soccer festival’s and both in different counties. And Kieran has a soccer game here at the home fields. I’m exhausted already!

2. We have no open weekends from now until mid March due to soccer festivals, soccer tournaments and Region C. Soccer every weekend from now until then.

3. My hubby and my friend from dinner the other night really helped me out with something I’ve been going through with an old friend. And it really helped when I started a sentence about something in particular and Sean finished it for me and my friend said it was natural to feel that way. THANK YOU!!!!!

4. I’m LOVING the training we’re doing for my new job. I can’t understand why most companies wouldn’t offer work from home positions nowadays. I love learning in this environment. The teacher comes in and takes over our computers and we can watch what he’s doing. I think it’s so much easier to learn then in the classroom. Granted I know it costs them alot for the conference call, etc. But in the end I’m wondering if it’s more effective.

5. Sean wants to take courses to learn the computer. Wondering if there’s any he can take from home online.

6. Was looking through the discounts I can now get from my new job and they are AWESOME! Some like 15% off total monthly Verizon bill, get to go shopping at their emporiums (great for birthdays and Christmas), awesome discounts on their website and more.

7. Not sure what to do with a check Tristan got from his Godmother. We are no longer on speaking terms (I am done) and Tristan does not want the check, the note or the card. She already knows all this so I guess if I just don’t cash it, it won’t be a surprise. All of this is now showing me I made the right move for not just me but my family as well.

8. So glad that my mom is making a full and speedy recovery from her gall bladder surgery last week. (Was that last week? I’m so confused – so much going on!)

9. I can’t wait to get my 1st paycheck. We get paid every 2 weeks and luckily we all started at the beginning of the pay period.

10. Now that I use the computer for my job I find myself not really wanting to come on it just for fun as much.

11. I really need to change my blog look to something for Valentine’s Day. This look is getting on my nerves (plus I want the warmer Florida weather back!)

12. So tired of phone calls from bill collectors! Can’t wait for my added income to help pay them OFF and make them GO AWAY!

13. Still waiting on one more W2 form from when Sean worked in North Dakota last year and then we can get our taxes done! Show me the money!!!!!!

1. Children - I have 3 children – 2 boys and a girl. They are the best thing that has ever happened to me!

2. Cats - blech – hate cats! Maybe it’s because I am allergic to them. LOL

3. Caffeine - I must have caffeine at some point during the day! (ie coffee, soda, etc

4. Clarice - Don’t know anyone by that name. Except the girl reindeer in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

5. Calamine – I think we have about 3 bottles of this stuff. We’re always using it for bug bites.

6. Connecticut - I’ve been there many times. Via boat trips or by car. One of my favorite aunts used to live there – Aunt Marie – how I got my middle name actually of Marie, from her.

7. Chocolate – YUMMY!

8. Craigslist - love selling stuff on here!

9. Coloring – I love to color! I’ll still color with the kids if they ask me too.

10. Cranberry - I have been told ever since I was 13 I need to drink cranberry juice everyday for my kidneys (I have bad kidneys)

11. Carpet – hate the carpet in our dining area! Who puts carpet under a table you eat at?????

12. Car- Don’t have a car – I drive a mini-van. LOL

13. Calgon – Take me away.

Thursday 13?

Thursday Thirteen “B” Edition courtesy of Izzy and Emmy.

1. Bobcat - I’ve only seen one at the zoo.

2. Bride – I was a beautiful bride on July 12th, 1997 in a small wedding in my parents backyard. One of the best days of my life!

3. Babies – I LOVE babies! Sometimes I get very sad that we’re done and aren’t having anymore. And sometimes I even think about adoption.

4. Books – Reading has always been one of my favorite past times! Books take you away when you need it and let you be someone else for a little while!

5. Blue – The color of my eyes. I was always so proud growing up to have the same color eyes as my dad. None of my kids got my color though.

6. Birthday – Tristan’s 12th birthday is coming up January 30th! I have no idea what to get him! Maybe a Landon Donovan soccer jersey if I can find one.

7. Beer – LOVE IT.

8. Beach – Love going to the beach. It’s so peaceful there – even with 3 kids LOL. If we could afford to live by the beach I’d do it in a heartbeat!

9. Brother - I have one brother who is younger then I am. Even though we’re very different I love him to pieces!

10. Beretta – My brother had a blue Beretta at some point. I can’t remember if it was during high-school or college though.

11. Broke – The story of my life.

12. Borg – No idea what this is.

13. Bite – Kieran has an ant bite at the nape of his neck. He got it the other day during PE at school.

Thursday 13?

13 rants/or things running through my head

1. How do people talk so badly about others, to the point where you think “they cannot be friends with this person” but then turn around (in a sense), smile at the person they were just talking badly about and BE friends with that person? And as if they’ve never uttered a single bad word about them?

2. It’s only halfway through the soccer season and I’m already over our crazy schedule that we have 4 afternoons and one or both weekend days!

3. Three weeks until Christmas and I’m not even halfway done with what I need to get.

4. Good news about #3 – the people on my list who I need to buy for is very small.

5. More good news – list of people getting Christmas cards from us this year also dwindled down. (Need to do that financially and otherwise).

6. Working out is becoming such a habit for me that when I don’t workout, I can feel my skin start to crawl because I get annoyed with myself.

7. Between being away for Thanksgiving break and my mom coming back home with us (and us being out all day everyday this week and then up at the fields at night) my house is SUCH a mess and it’s driving me NUTS!!!!!!!!

8. I still can’t believe my youngest put an eraser in his ear yesterday at school (and we had to go to the clinic to have it removed) – he’ll be 8 this February!

9. Happy to be staying away from the drama up at the fields (and in other areas of my life) by not letting it enter my world.

10. Cannot wait for this week to be over – too much going on every day between school functions, sports functions, birthday parties (two) this weekend and just getting ready for the holidays in general.

11. Have the Christmas cards bought – still need to take the picture!!!! Wanted to do it Friday up at the fields after school and before birthday party #1 but they’re now calling for rain! UGH!!!!!!

12. We’ve got HUGE cockroaches in our house! So afraid I’m going to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and step on one!

13. SO wanting to get out of this house and out of this neighborhood!!!! Please tell me who in their right mind leaves their 4th grader in your backyard and goes shopping – WITHOUT TELLING YOU???????????

1. Alisha- Don’t know anyone with this name.
2. Albuquerque, New Mexico- never been.
3. Adventure- I LOVE a good adventure. I miss the days when my friends and I would get in a car and just drive with no destination in mind. We’d have the best times then! Although nowadays, with 3 kids, everyday is a new adventure.
4. Apples- I hate apples! But my kids love them.
5. Antique Shops- boring!
6. Aliens- Definitely think we are not alone.
7. Attic- have never been in our attic in this house or the one we had back in NJ. Have been in the one in the house I grew up in – spooky.
8.Attendance- My kids will not have perfect attendance this year – already all have been sick.
9. All Top- Never heard of it before today.
10. Apeture- Another thing I’ve never heard of before today – looks cool though.
11. Adobe- Would love to have Adobe Photoshop!
12. Accidents- Happen all the time and happen to everyone!
13. Alaska- I have always wanted to take a cruise to Alaska – I hear they’re so much fun and the sights are something else!
